"To move ahead with wind projects in the Northwest, BPA needed a way to share the up front costs with people and businesses who cared about renewable energy. When BEF created its Green Tag product in 2000, we had the tool we needed to become one of the country's largest wholesalers of new wind energy. BEF deserves recognition for this contribution -- from us, from the region, and from the national renewable energy community."
