ROBERT HARMON JOINS BONNEVILLE ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION

January 15, 2001 (Portland, OR) - Robert Harmon has joined the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) as Vice President. He will direct Renewable Energy Programs for the Foundation. Harmon has served as a consultant to BEF for the past two years and is credited with developing BEF's Green Tag program. With his addition, BEF adds a Puget Sound office to its Portland headquarters.

Foundation President, Angus Duncan said, "Renewable energy is a rapidly growing part of the dynamic energy market in the Pacific Northwest. We are fortunate that someone as creative and experienced as Rob Harmon is joining us. His industry background will be a key asset as we develop new renewable energy projects while expanding our Green Tag marketing efforts."

Harmon has been active in the energy industry for 14 years, the last 6 years of which were dedicated to the renewable energy sector. He has served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for WindLite Corporation and as Business Development Manager of FloWind Corporation. In addition, he has served as the Chairman of the Small Wind Turbine Committee of the American Wind Energy Association and as a member of the California Emerging Renewables Advisory Board.

About BEF
Bonneville Environmental Foundation was established in 1998 to further the development and use of new renewable energy resources. BEF funds projects that restore damaged watersheds and create new sources of renewable energy such as solar, wind and low-impact hydro.

Bonneville Environmental Foundation is a non-profit organization that collaborates with, but is independent of, the Bonneville Power Administration.
