In good company

BEF is proud to be a trusted partner of some of the most well-respected companies in the country. To join the ranks of companies working to make their businesses and the Earth a better place, please contact us.

AAA in Oregon and Idaho offers its members access to DriveGreen™, a program to members that want to offset the emissions associated with driving. The DriveGreen™ program uses BEF offsets and educational materials.
Horizon, a brand of organic and natural dairy products offered by WhiteWave Foods Company, has a long-standing partnership with BEF. Horizon promotes their commitment to renewable energy and BEF at events like the annual Farm Aid concert.
International Delight, a brand of coffee creamers from WhiteWave Foods Company, has been a BEF partner since 2008. The brand offsets 50% of the green house gas emissions associated with the production of their product with Green-e Climate certified carbon offsets from BEF.
Levi Strauss & Co. partnered with several companies to calculate the carbon footprint of an industry event tote bag. This tote bag project created a blueprint for calculating the carbon footprint of other individual products. Levi’s used BEF Carbon Offsets to offset the bag’s lifecycle of emissions: from growing the cotton all the way to the end-user’s washing machine.
Our partnership with The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is long-standing and far reaching. NRDC’s San Francisco, Santa Monica and Montana offices purchase BEF RECs; the entire organization purchases BEF Water Restoration Certificates. Additionally, the two organizations collaborate on a wide variety of renewable energy and watershed projects.
Thanks to a student-initiated program, Oregon State University offsets nearly 75% of the campus’ electricity by purchasing RECs from BEF. OSU is hard at work to make 100% of their power sources renewable.
Silk, brand of soy and almond milk from WhiteWave Foods Company, created an award-winning national promotion called “Green Caps for Green Energy.” The promotion engaged consumers in building the renewable energy industry and learning about sustainability. BEF is proud to be Silk’s partner on this green caps promotion and other initiatives.
Designed in partnership with BEF, The North Face’s “We Get Dirty, But Run Clean” campaign represents the company’s commitment to the well-being of the planet. BEF reinforces The North Face’s support of clean power with educational and interactive promotions, and interactive booths at tradeshows.
